Installation

NYPV began four years ago by installing solar energy, so we know how to do the job right the first time. In fact, we still install systems for companies that just sell technology. As of October 2012, NYPV has installed 187 jobs equal to 2.1 megawatts of power. We’re proud of our spotless record of customer satisfaction.

Why go solar?

Imagine getting an electric bill that’s 50% or 60% or 70% less than the bill you usually receive. Better yet, imagine getting a bill without any charges. At that point, would you even call it a bill?

Photovoltaic energy makes that possible. NYPV routinely installs solar panels on homes that generate upwards of 70% or 80% of a family’s electric needs. And the fact is that local, state, and federal governments are willing to pay up to 50% of the cost of installing solar energy. (Click here to learn more.)

Photovoltaic energy was first invented to power America’s earliest satellites. It’s not new technology – it’s proven technology. Technology that saves money, helps America achieve energy independence, and will deliver a healthier planet to our children.

Costs

NYPV handles all the paperwork necessary for our customers to receive every rebate and tax incentive offered by local, state, and federal governments. With rebates and tax incentives, the cost of installing solar energy has decreased steadily. The arrays we install usually pay for themselves in five years. Then it’s 25 more years of free power generation!
